While RBF's pioneer training was academic in nature, training providing two kinds of degrees, the Primary Teacher Training Program and the Post Graduate Diploma in Education, it quickly began to design and implement development trainings in order to meet the needs of the majority of teachers in the country side. Our development trainings stand out in comparison to those offered by other institutions in their rigor and in the practical application of the theory participants learn in the different subject areas. We feel that we have created a fine amalgamation of the workshop style model and the purely academic and theoretical training that is prevalent. Our training is practical, reflective, meaningful and process oriented and thus allows teachers to apply them with ease to the local realities of Nepal.
We describe below some of the training we have been conducting for teachers from all over the country.
